Pluto

“Perhaps the butterfly is proof that you can go through a great deal of darkness and yet still becoming something so beautiful.”

~ Beau Taplin ~

Many people who already know Astrology might be fearful at the mention of the dwarf planet, Pluto. The first word that comes to mind is ‘death’. But it is not literally just death. Pluto’s function is the power of transformation. This is where evolution comes in. We are all here to evolve. To face our greatest fear, go through the darkness and pain, then come out at the other end as a brand new person. Pluto rules the sign, Scorpio. Pluto’s energy is very internal, deep seated, psychological.

When I start a consultation session, Pluto is usually the first planet I look at, even before the basic triad (Sun, Moon and Ascendant). I want to understand what is the deepest, darkest wound my client carries this life time which is in fact, the greatest power to be uncovered. As Pluto is the slowest moving planet, it is generational and people born in the same era will share the same sign. Hence, it is more personal to look at the house Pluto falls in the chart.
